Studio Crew

The studio crew are the people who work behind the scenes to make sure that the episodes filmed are of the highest quality possible. The jobs of crew members include the following: camera operator, teleprompter operator, floor director, technical director, switchboard operator, audio technician, and studio director. As a member of our crew, you will not only learn how to operate all of the equipment used in the studio, but you will get a first-hand look at how a typical studio would operate, improve your ability to troubleshoot technical equipment, and engage in creative problem solving.

This past summer, the Leutze Studio was upgraded to full 4K resolution cameras and new industrial tile flooring! Our gratitude to the UNCW Department of Communication Studies and COM Media team for allowing us to use this space is almost indescribable!
